Hatem Ben Arfa 'wants to stay at Newcastle United, despite Alan Pardew dispute'

Hatem Ben Arfa reportedly has no intention of leaving Newcastle United before the close of the transfer window in five days' time, despite his first-team exile.

The 27-year-old was pushed out of manager Alan Pardew's squad towards the closing stages of last season after a number of alleged disagreements with the coach.

While there have been suggestions that Ben Arfa could move on from St James' Park, the Chronicle reports that the winger wants to fight for his place.
