Agent: 'Papiss Cisse could leave Newcastle United'

The agent of Papiss Cisse believes that the striker could leave Newcastle United before the end of the transfer window.

The agent of Newcastle United striker Papiss Cisse has admitted that the Senegal international could still leave the club before the end of the transfer window.

The 30-year-old has been linked with moves to clubs in China and the Arabian Gulf League, while Turkish side Galatasaray are also thought to be interested.

Madou Diene told the Newcastle Chronicle: "If the right offer comes I will ask Papiss to consider it. Nobody wants to be at a club where you don't feel wanted.

"There has been no offer from Galarasaray yet, it is only talk in the media. But there has been nothing concrete. Perhaps if there was it would be considered because at Papiss's age he wants to play regular football.

"No matter which team he plays for he needs service because he will score goals. During him time at Newcastle, he's never had proper service which makes his goal tally even more remarkable. As long as Papiss is here he will score goals. He can't do that if he's sitting on the bench."

Cisse, who still has 18 months remaining on his contract at St James' Park, joined Newcastle from Freiburg in 2012.
