Newcastle United boss Alan Pardew has recalled Hatem Ben Arfa for today's visit of Stoke City.

Loic Remy is named up front for the Magpies, while the visitors make two changes from the side that beat Aston Villa 2-1 in their last match.

Goalkeeper Asmir Begovic is unavailable, and the Bosnian stopper is replaced by Thomas Sorensen.
