Fabricio Coloccini has insisted that Newcastle United have faith in the players and manager Alan Pardew, despite the team being without a win in the Premier League this season.
After seven matches, the Magpies sit 18th in the table with just four points, resulting in some fans calling for the boss to be dismissed.
However, the captain told the Shields Gazette: "We have to improve and look forward. It's a difficult time for us. But we have confidence in this group and the manager. We have a tight group and we're staying positive."
Newcastle will host Leicester City after the international break.
