Newcastle United played out a 0-0 draw in a pre-season friendly away at Den Haag on Saturday afternoon.
The Magpies started with a strong side including Demba Ba, Fabricio Collocini and Papiss Cisse.
Alan Pardew's side dominated the first half, holding the majority of the possession and creating many chances.
However, despite the dominance, they were unable to find a way through the Dutch side's defence.
The second half saw more chances fall Newcastle's way. Cisse went closest when his header was cleared off the line, while Shola Ameobi saw a goal ruled out for offside.
Demba Ba also threatened the home side's goal, though it took until the final minute before Tim Krul was forced into action.
The full-time whistle blew with the score at 0-0.
