Pardew orders foreign players to learn English?

Newcastle United boss Alan Pardew has demanded that his side's foreign players learn English before the season starts, according to a report.

The Magpies currently have 13 players who speak French as their first language in their first-team squad.

Pardew is frustrated by the communication problems that his players are having on the field due to their language barrier, so he has ordered them to learn English and has banned translators from the club, reports The Sun.

Newcastle signed six players from France in the January transfer window including Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa, Yoan Gouffran and Moussa Sissoko.
