Newcastle boss Alan Pardew claims that there is more to come from £10m January signing Papiss Demba Cisse.

Newcastle United manager Alan Pardew has claimed that there is more to come from striker Papiss Demba Cisse.

The Senegal international has scored two goals in four games for the Magpies since his £10m January move from Freiburg.

Despite the good start to his career on Tyneside, Pardew believes that Cisse has more to offer.

When asked if fans had only seen part of his potential, Pardew told reporters: "Yes, of course, and so have we in terms of the group. We haven't seen a lot of him. But he's a good person, he's got a nice manner about him and we are looking forward to him continuing the great start he has had."

Cisse is expected to feature for Newcastle when they travel to Arsenal in the Premier League on Monday night.
