Mathieu Debuchy "very comfortable" at Newcastle United

Mathieu Debuchy has revealed that he feels settled with his life at Newcastle United.

The French full-back only joined the Magpies last month from French outfit Lille.

However, despite having spent only a few weeks in England, the 27-year-old has insisted that he is "very comfortable" on Tyneside.

"It's obviously something you need to get into, but now I feel very comfortable in the team," he told the club's official website.

"I feel very happy and I hope that will continue. I hope the team's and my own performances will continue and we can climb further up the Premier League."

Debuchy has made six appearances in total for Newcastle.
