Newcastle United boss John Carver resolves issues with Jonas Gutierrez

Newcastle United interim boss John Carver confirms that he and Jonas Gutierrez have resolved their differences following a reported training ground bust-up.

Newcastle United interim manager John Carver has confirmed that he and Jonas Gutierrez have resolved their differences following a recent bust-up.

The duo are believed to have had a heated exchange on the training field earlier this week ahead of Saturday's match against Swansea City at St James' Park.

However, in today's press conference, Carver confirmed that the pair have settled the issue and that Gutierrez will be available for this weekend's encounter.

The Magpies are currently seven points above relegation in the Premier League table.
