Eduardo Vargas confirms Napoli switch

Eduardo Vargas has confirmed that he will move from Universidad de Chile to Serie A side Napoli.

The 23-year-old, who had been linked with a move to Chelsea, will cost the Italian club £11.5m.

"Yes I will be joining Napoli, a large team in Italy," Vargas told Radio Cooperativa. "I'm sure I'll do very well there. I [already] know [Edinson] Cavani and [Ezequiel] Lavezzi.

"I am very happy that everything was tied up quickly, and for me to play in Italy is a dream come true."

Napoli are currently fifth in the Serie A table.
