Report: Barcelona close to Pepe Reina deal

Pepe Reina has played his final game for Liverpool, according to a report.

The 30-year-old goalkeeper, who joined Napoli on a season-long loan deal last month, is under contract at Anfield until June 2016.

However, the Daily Star claims that Barcelona are close to finalising a deal that will see Reina leave the Reds permanently and move to Camp Nou next summer.

Reina, who is unhappy that his loan switch to Napoli was set up behind his back, has made 285 Premier League appearances since signing for Liverpool from Villarreal in July 2005.
