Gabriel joins Napoli on loan

AC Milan goalkeeper Gabriel has joined Napoli on a season-long loan deal.

The 22-year-old will be expected to provide support for Pepe Reina, who returned to the club on a permanent basis last month.

The Brazilian joined the Rossoneri from Cruzeiro in 2012, but he has made just seven appearances for the club.

He spent last season on loan at Carpi and started 39 games as the club achieved promotion to Serie A for the first time in their history.

Gabriel has made one appearance for the Brazilian national side.
