Rafael Benitez targets January signings

Napoli manager Rafael Benitez says he is keen to add to his squad if the right players are available during the transfer window.

Napoli manager Rafael Benitez has admitted that he intends to bring in new additions to the team in the January transfer window.

The Partenopei are currently third in the Serie A table, and Benitez is keen to add to his squad if he finds players of a higher quality than he already has at his disposal.

"The first thing I have to say is that I am very satisfied with the team we have available. Another thing is that we can improve, something that we always have to evaluate," he told reporters.

"We have to analyse the market, because we have economic capacity and the added advantage for any signing.

"But any new arrival has to be better than what we already have in our side."

Napoli visit Hellas Verona in Serie A on Sunday.
