Agent: 'Lorenzo Insigne turned down Inter Milan'

The agent of Napoli winger Lorenzo Insigne has said that his client turned down the chance to join Inter Milan.

The 24-year-old is seen as a crucial player for the club, but he has been linked with an exit in recent months.

However, his agent Fabio Andreotti has said that he was never interested in a move from his hometown club.

"Inter is a club that has always appreciated Lorenzo," Andreotti told Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli.

"They were interested in him, even in this transfer window, but there was a resounding 'no' from Napoli and from the player himself."

Insigne has scored 16 goals in 123 appearances for Napoli.
