Diego Maradona: "I am still in love with Napoli"

Diego Maradona has claimed that he is "still in love" with Napoli, where he spent seven seasons of his career.

The former Argentina boss, who led Napoli to the club's first ever Serie A title during the 1986-87 campaign, admits that he is eager to see the club celebrating another Scudetto soon.

"I am still in love with Napoli," he told Il Mattino.

"I remember the enthusiasm for the league title; the fans, the banners. I embrace the whole of Naples for the emotions that it has given me.

"What I wish for all the fans is to soon be celebrating another title."

Maradona made over 250 appearances for the Italian outfit during his time at the club.
