Rafael Benitez rues Napoli mistakes

Napoli manager Rafael Benitez says that his side should have beaten Udinese in their Serie A match this afternoon.

Napoli manager Rafael Benitez has claimed his side should have beaten Udinese in their Serie A match this afternoon.

Jose Callejon had given the Partenopei a half-time lead, before a Bruno Fernandes strike earned the hosts a 1-1 draw.

"We had a good first half and controlled the game," he told SportMediaset. "But then we should have closed the game out. We made mistakes and gifted them their goal.

"After their goal we lost a little bit of confidence but after ten minutes we returned to controlling the game.

'I am not happy because Napoli should have won this game. We still have to get better and realize the importance of every match."

Napoli are currently third in the Serie A table.
