Charles N'Zogbia to link up with Ligue 1 side?

Nantes have reportedly emerged as favourites to sign free agent Charles N'Zogbia.

Earlier this summer, the 30-year-old was released from Aston Villa after a hugely disappointing spell in the West Midlands with his last appearance coming back in November.

He had been linked with a move to Sunderland but according to L'Equipe, the winger looks likely to return to his native France.

N'Zogbia began his career at Le Havre before he started his 12-year association with English football at Newcastle United in 2004.
