Michel Der Zakarian: 'Zlatan Ibrahimovic was exceptional against us'

Nantes coach Michel Der Zakarian has labelled Paris Saint-Germain striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic as "exceptional" following the player's performance in the Coupe de la Ligue.

The Swedish striker was the difference as he helped to dump Nantes out of the cup with a 2-1 PSG victory at the Stade de la Beaujoire, with the frontman grabbing both goals to send Laurent Blanc's men into the final.

"We didn't want to go all out from the start and decided to sit back and wait for them," the Nantes manager said after the match.

"Unfortunately we conceded two goals to an exceptional forward who had two chances and scored two goals. We defended well and wanted to stay compact, something we did very badly when we lost at their place in the league."

PSG will now play Lyon in the final of the tournament.
