Late Johnny Russell goal gives Dundee United win

A late goal gave Dundee United all three points against Motherwell in the Scottish Premier League this evening.

There were plenty of chances for both sides but no goals until the 83rd minute, when Johnny Russell headed the ball past Darren Randolph.

Motherwell had a chance cleared in the 90th minute to deny an equaliser.

The win moves the visitors up to seventh, level on points and goal difference with Motherwell.
