New Africa Cup of Nations host expected in "two or three days"

A new venue for the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations is expected to be confirmed within the next "two or three days", says the Confederation of African Football.

The Confederation of African Football expects to confirm a new venue for the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations within the next "two or three days".

Morocco announced this week that they were no longer prepared to host the tournament because of fears over the spread of the Ebola virus.

They have subsequently been expelled from the finals, which are still scheduled to take place from January 17 to February 8 next year.

Caf president Issa Hayatou revealed to TV channel France 24 on Wednesday that an alternative will be found this week.

Gabon, Tunisia and Algeria have been tipped to step in, but 2010 hosts Angola have ruled themselves out.
