Montreal Impact 0-0 Sporting Kansas City

Montreal Impact have been held to a goalless draw by Sporting Kansas City at home in Major League Soccer.

The first chance of the game fell to Sporting after 12 minutes, but Graham Zusi's shot was off target.

Justin Mapp tried his luck from outside the box for Montreal, but failed to keep his shot on target.

Four minutes later Felipe Martins's attempt from distance was saved.

Nine minutes after the half-time interval, Kei Kamara came close for Sporting with a close-range shot before Montreal's Andrew Wenger saw his header go over the crossbar.

Montreal and Sporting continued to exchange chances for the remainder of the second half but neither could breach the other's defence, and settled for a goalless draw.
