John Marquis ruled out until New Year

Millwall forward John Marquis has been referred to a specialist after being ruled out with a groin injury until the New Year.

Physio Bobby Bacic has revealed that the 20-year-old, who has not featured for the club this season, will see a specialist before starting treatment on his injury.

Bacic said: "John has suffered a cruel blow and has significantly disrupted a groin muscle on his right side.

"We will see a specialist over the coming days to discuss John's options."

Marquis has scored five goals in 34 appearances for Millwall.
