Steve Lomas: Win is "no more than we deserved"

Millwall boss Steve Lomas feels that his side got exactly what they deserved as they came from behind to beat Blackpool 3-1 at The Den.

Millwall boss Steve Lomas has revealed that he is delighted to have picked up his first league win in charge of the club.

The Lions came from a goal down to beat Blackpool 3-1 at The Den thanks to goals from Liam Trotter, Nicky Bailey and Steve Morison.

Lomas told the club's official website: "It's no more than we deserved. The difference tonight was that we took our chances. Winning breeds confidence and we have to build on this on Saturday.

"You could see in the lads that they wouldn't give the game up (after going behind).

"The Chairman took some criticism in appointing me, and the longer the first win took the worse it got. I'm delighted for him."

Millwall lifted themselves to 19th in the Championship with the win.
