Kenny Jackett says that Millwall must make the most of their remaining home matches to avoid relegation to League One.

Millwall manager Kenny Jackett believes that his side's FA Cup run has had a detrimental effect of their league form.

The Lions are among a clutch of teams battling against relegation from the Championship, with just four points separating them from the drop zone.

Today's 3-0 defeat to fellow strugglers Huddersfield Town has left them with work to do in their final four games to avoid dropping into League One.

However, Jackett said that he has no regrets regarding Millwall's run to the semi-finals of the FA Cup, where they lost 2-0 to Wigan Athletic.

"Three of our remaining matches are at home and we have to make that count," Jackett said after the match. "Our cup run hasn't helped and it's been a strange season.

"If we'd have got results over the last five matches, we'd have been looking at the playoffs. That's been the story of our season. If we won a couple we were looking up, but a couple of losses and we were looking down.

"Early in the season we were fourth or fifth in the league and then in the second half of the season we were looking over our shoulders. Having said that I wouldn't swap the cup run for anything."

Millwall have two games in hand on their relegation rivals.
