Middlesbrough are reportedly close to signing Aston Villa goalkeeper Shay Given.
It is thought that Villa boss Tim Sherwood is prepared to let the 39-year-old leave on a free transfer.
The Republic of Ireland international made 16 appearances for Boro during a three-month loan stint at the Riverside Stadium in the 2013-14 season.
According to The Telegraph, Given is poised to join the Championship outfit on a permanent basis.
Given signed for Villa for £3.5m from Manchester City in 2011.
