Report: Dean Whitehead agrees Middlesbrough terms

Former Stoke City midfielder Dean Whitehead has reportedly agreed terms on a two-year deal with Championship outfit Middlesbrough.

The 31-year-old, who left the Potters at the end of last season, was linked with a number of Championship sides in recent weeks.

However, according to Sky Sports News, the experienced midfielder is currently undergoing a medical at the Riverside ahead of signing a two-year contract with the club.

Whitehead has previously played in the North East with Sunderland.
