James Husband completes Middlesbrough switch

Middlesbrough announce the signing of wing-back James Husband from Doncaster Rovers.

Middlesbrough have confirmed the signing of wing-back James Husband from Doncaster Rovers on a four-year deal.

The 20-year-old is understood to have cost the Championship club around £500,000.

Meanwhile, Curtis Main has moved the other way, joining Doncaster on a three-year contract.

A product of Donny's youth academy, Husband signed his first professional deal at the Keepmoat Stadium in 2011.

"We are delighted to welcome James to the club. He is a young player we believe has a very good future in the game," Boro boss Aitor Karanka told the club's official website.

"He's a good footballer and has all the things we look for in a young player. We wish him every success here at Boro."

Husband scored one goal in 30 appearances for Doncaster during the 2013-14 campaign.
