Middlesbrough have completed the signing of Diego Fabbrini from Watford on a season-long loan.
The Championship outfit announced on their website that the 24-year-old Italy international finalised the move on Monday.
Fabbrini, who spent two years at Vicarage Road, travelled with the Boro squad for Saturday's pre-season friendly against Doncaster Rovers.
During his time at Watford, Fabbrini spent loan spells at Siena, Millwall and Birmingham City.
