Aitor Karanka praises Mustapha Carayol performance

Middlesbrough manager Aitor Karanka was full of praise for two-goal hero Mustapha Carayol after he helped the Teesiders to a win at Blackpool on Saturday.

Carayol scored twice in the final 10 minutes after coming on a second-half substitute to secure victory at Bloomfield Road.

He told MFC.co.uk: "Everybody knows what kind of player Muzzy is. Last week he wasn't in the team and today he scored two goals.

"When he plays like he can, he's a fantastic player. He needs to be more consistent, work very hard and do this every game."

Boro entertain Charlton Athletic at the Riverside Stadium next Saturday.
