Half-Time Report: Goalless between Middlesbrough, Barnsley

Middlesbrough and Barnsley have played out a goalless first half in their Championship match this afternoon.

Adam Reach and Jacob Butterfield tried their luck for the hosts in the early stages with efforts from range that failed to test the keeper.

Danny Graham was next to threaten for Boro after working some space to shoot, but failed to test Luke Steele in the Barnsley goal.

Middlesbrough continued to have the better of the chances and on the half-hour mark Lee Tomlin saw his shot saved by Steele, before Reach smashed wide from the rebound.
