Report: Marseille want Kevin Gameiro

Marseille are reportedly preparing an offer to bring Kevin Gameiro back to France at the end of the season.

The 27-year-old joined Sevilla from Paris Saint-Germain in 2013 and has netted 28 goals in 61 games for the Spanish outfit.

The Frenchman's involvement has been limited this season, however, due to the form of Carlos Bacca.

The forward was linked with a return to France in January, but Sevilla are believed to have rejected interest from Ligue 1.

According to France Football, Marseille are confident that they can entice Gameiro at the end of the season, but will have to convince Sevilla to part with the forward.

Gameiro, who has also played for Lorient, has a buy-out in the region of £35m.
