Giannelli Imbula joins Porto from Marseille

Porto have completed the signing of midfielder Giannelli Imbula from Marseille on a five-year deal.

The Frenchman, 21, has joined the 27-time Portuguese champions for an undisclosed fee thought to be around €20m (£14.1m).

Imbula, who started his professional career with Guingamp, has spent the last two seasons with Marseille.

He scored two goals in 38 appearances for L'OM in all competitions during the 2014-15 campaign.

Imbula had been linked with Inter Milan and Southampton before agreeing to join Porto.
