Mansfield Town grab Dimitar Evtimov on six-month loan deal

Mansfield Town have confirmed the signing of goalkeeper Dimitar Evtimov on a six-month loan from Nottingham Forest.

The stopper, who has featured for Bulgaria at Under-21 level, was an impressive member of Forest's first team in 2012 and has since won a contract extension under new coach Stuart Pearce.

The keeper was originally set to join Wrexham on loan last month, but the deal fell through, allowing Mansfield to secure Evtimov until January.

Town currently hold ninth position in the League Two table.
