Shinji Kagawa suffers back injury

Manchester United midfielder Shinji Kagawa has pulled out of Japan's World Cup qualifier with Iraq due to a back complaint.

The 23-year-old suffered the knock on Monday and therefore is a doubt for United's Premier League clash with Wigan Athletic on Saturday.

Kagawa has started all three of United's league matches thus far this season, scoring once in an impressive start to life in England.

United open their Champions League campaign against Galatasaray next Wednesday.
