Wigan Athletic close to Angelo Henriquez loan?

Wigan Athletic are reportedly in talks to sign Manchester United striker Angelo Henriquez on an emergency loan deal.

The 18-year-old Chilean has yet to play for the Red Devils following a summer move from Universidad de Chile.

The Latics now want Henriquez to act as cover while Arouna Kone is at the Africa Cup of Nations with the Ivory Coast, according to The Mirror.

However, Henriquez will need to pull out of the Chile squad for the upcoming South American Under-20 finals if a deal is to go through.
