West Ham 'standing firm on Arnautovic stance'

West Ham United may reportedly have to up Marko Arnautovic's wages to £200,000 a week after standing firm on their decision to keep the Austrian forward at the club.

Arnautovic stunned Hammers chiefs by admitting earlier this week that he wants to depart East London to fulfil his ambition of playing Champions League football before it is too late.

The 29-year-old is under contract at the London Stadium for another four-and-a-half years and currently earns a rumoured £130,000 a week.

According to The Sun, United have been told that they must offer Arnautovic improved terms in an attempt to keep the unsettled former Stoke City ace happy.

Manchester United are the favourites to sign the 76-cap Austrian international, having missed out on him in the past.
