Ricky van Wolfswinkel's agent denies Manchester United contact

The agent of Sporting Lisbon striker Ricky van Wolfswinkel has said that he has had no contact with Manchester United.

The 22-year-old has been linked with a move to Old Trafford, but Louis Laros has played down any speculation.

"Ricky is doing very well with Sporting and is very happy with the club, the city and the supporters," he said. "For him everything is perfect, for me this rumour is not - it is not a surprise but I have not spoken with anybody.

"It is normal the kid is linked with other clubs because people watch the Portuguese Liga and as always club scouts check on the best men and today Ricky is one of the best forwards."

Van Wolfswinkel has scored six times in seven games for Lisbon this season after a summer move from Eredivisie side Utrecht.
