Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal eager to sign Tottenham Hotspur's Harry Kane?

Manchester United will make an approach for Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane in the summer, according to a report.

Manchester United will reportedly make an approach for Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane at the end of the season.

The 22-year-old was linked with a move to Old Trafford during the summer after scoring 31 goals for Spurs last season and breaking into the England side.

Kane has so far struggled to replicate his form of last season for his club, scoring just once in 12 appearances this term, although he has netted three goals in four England games.

According to beIN Sports, United manager Louis van Gaal, who has Wayne Rooney and Anthony Martial as his only senior striking options, is insisting that the club tie up a deal for Kane next summer.

Kane, who netted 21 Premier League goals last term, has scored three goals in six appearances for England.
