Valencia make £14m move for Marcos Rojo?

Valencia reportedly launch a £14m bid for Manchester United defender Marcos Rojo.

Spanish side Valencia have reportedly made a £14m approach for Manchester United defender Marcos Rojo as they look to get their season back on track.

The 26-year-old has become an integral part of Jose Mourinho's plans over the last couple of months, starting the last eight games in a row - a run that has seen the club remain unbeaten in the Premier League.

According to The Mirror, Valencia sporting director Jesus Garcia Pitarch has been in England to discuss a potential switch in the January transfer window.

United are thought to have already knocked back interest in the Argentine from the Chinese Super League, but Los Che believe that the club could be convinced to sell should they land Benfica centre-back Victor Lindelof next month.

Valencia have endured a torrid season in La Liga so far, earning just 12 points from their 15 games to enter the winter break just out of the relegation zone on goal difference.

Rojo has racked up 72 appearances in all competitions since he joined United from Sporting Lisbon in a £16m deal in 2014.
