Manchester United 'prepare bid for Harry Maguire'

Manchester United are reportedly preparing a bid for Leicester City defender Harry Maguire.

United have been linked with a move for Maguire as well as Tottenham Hotspur's Toby Alderweireld, while centre-back Marcos Rojo could reportedly leave the Red Devils for Everton.

Maguire played an instrumental role in England's journey to the semi-finals of the World Cup in Russia, and Sky Sports News reports that Jose Mourinho wants to sign the centre-back before Thursday's transfer deadline.

The 25-year-old joined the Foxes from Hull City last summer and was awarded the Player of the Season award in his debut campaign.

United have already splashed over £70m in the transfer window on Shakhtar Donetsk midfielder Fred, Diogo Dalot of Porto and Stoke City's Lee Grant.
