Manchester United plan Shinji Kagawa deal

Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson will reportedly try to sign Borussia Dortmand's Shinji Kagawa.

The Japanese midfielder is being tipped to move to Old Trafford in the summer after contract talks between the player and the Bundesliga champions stalled, according to reports in Germany.

Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc told Bild: "We would love to extend to his contract, but the ball is in his court.

"We know that he fancies a move to England or Spain. The question is at what point in time."

The 23-year-old has scored 12 goals in 25 appearances for Dortmund this season and is thought to be available for around £15m.
