Manchester United 'consider triggering Kostas Manolas release clause'

United 'considering triggering Manolas talks'

Manchester United are reportedly considering a move for Roma defender Kostas Manolas.

United will be in the market for a new centre-back during the summer transfer window, and a number of players have already been linked with a switch to Old Trafford.

However, according to Leggo, United are giving thought to meeting the release clause of Greece international Manolas.

The 27-year-old has enjoyed an impressive five-year spell at the Stadio Olimpico, but the player is available for a fee of £31m this summer.

United could potentially regard Manolas as value for money, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer also keen to strengthen other areas of his first-team squad.
