Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly been priced out of a move for RB Leipzig's Josko Gvardiol.
The defender was a breakout star from Croatia's run to the World Cup semi-finals in Qatar, playing every minute of their seven games at the tournament, and his performances have caught the eye of some of the biggest clubs in England.
According to GiveMeSport, Tottenham have been priced out of a move to sign Gvardiol, as they cannot compete with the financial firepower that both Manchester City and Manchester United possess.
It is claimed that City have submitted a bid in the region of £85m, whilst United are thought to have offered fees in the region of £77m to 82m.
The 20-year-old has started 13 out of his 19 appearances so far this season, netting one goal which came against Real Madrid in the Champions League.
Having signed from Dinamo Zagreb last summer, he went on to make 46 appearances in all competitions last season, netting two goals following his €18.8m (£16.4m) move from the Croatian side.
