Carlos Tevez has advised his former Manchester United teammate Nemanja Vidic to join him at Italian champions Juventus.
Vidic is believed to be in talks over a new contract at Old Trafford, with his current terms due to expire at the end of the season.
"Vidic should join Juventus – he's very suitable for the Italian league" The Metro quotes the Argentine as saying.
"He's very strong and a very good defender. I played with him at United and then against him when I moved to Manchester City."
Tevez spent two seasons at United before joining rivals Manchester City in 2009.
