Recently-appointed Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag is reportedly keen to make Feyenoord defender Tyrell Malacia one of his first summer signings.

Erik ten Hag has reportedly identified Feyenoord defender Tyrell Malacia as one of his first summer signings at Manchester United.

While the 52-year-old will remain at Ajax for the remainder of the campaign, he will naturally already be contemplating which players that he wants to sign when he arrives at Old Trafford in the summer.

Current interim boss Ralf Rangnick, who will move into an advisory role, has already acknowledged that a significant squad overhaul will take place during the next transfer window.

According to The Mirror, Malacia has been shortlisted as a potential signing, the 22-year-old having impressed at Feyenoord throughout this campaign.

The report claims that United are confident that they would be able to get a deal for the left-back over the line for a fee in the region of £20m.

Malacia, who has earned three caps for the Netherlands, has made a total of 46 appearances in all competitions this season, which includes 30 starts in the Eredivisie.
