Erik ten Hag is reportedly furious with Manchester United over failing to sign five players this summer as previously promised.

Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag is reportedly furious with the club's lack of transfers.

The Red Devils have signed Tyrell Malacia, Lisandro Martinez and Christian Eriksen this summer, but they have also missed out on targets.

A deal for Frenkie de Jong is still some way off being completed, while Ten Hag failed to sign Antony from his former club Ajax.

United's struggles in the transfer window have reportedly left the United head coach furious, with >The Mirror reporting that he feels he has been let down by the lack of activity in the market.

After nine players departed the club this summer, chief executive Richard Arnold and football director John Murtough promised Ten Hag that they would make five additions.

However, the club have only made three signings, and are yet to strengthen in the final third where they are low on central striking options, with Cristiano Ronaldo and Anthony Martial United's current forward options.
