Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer expects Paul Pogba to still be with the club heading into next season.

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has said that he expects Paul Pogba to still be with the club heading into the 2020-21 campaign.

The France international was widely linked with a move away from Old Trafford last summer, while his agent Mino Raiola has consistently talked up a potential exit.

A recent report claimed that the 2018 World Cup winner could now be ready to sign a new deal with the 20-time English champions, though, having seemingly had a change of heart.

Speaking after Thursday's 5-0 win over LASK Linz in the first leg of their Europa League last-16 clash, Solskjaer has revealed that the 26-year-old is unlikely to leave the club during this summer's transfer window.

"Paul's our player. He has two years left on his contract, a year plus the option of another. You can expect Paul to be here [next season], yeah," The Mirror quotes Solskjaer as saying.

Real Madrid were one of the teams to be strongly linked with the midfielder, but the Spanish champions have now allegedly cooled their interest ahead of the next transfer window.

Pogba is yet to turn out for United in 2020 due to an ankle problem.
