Luke Shaw treatment 'ruining Gareth Bale's chances of joining Manchester United'

Shaw treatment 'ruining Bale's United chances'

Jose Mourinho's handling of Luke Shaw is reportedly reducing the chances of Manchester United signing Gareth Bale from Real Madrid.

Bale's representatives, who also work with English defender Shaw, are allegedly unhappy at the way the United boss is treating the 23-year-old at Old Trafford, according to the Daily Mail.

Shaw, who has been in and out of the Red Devils team in a four-year spell marred by injury, has been unable to cement a place this term despite being fit to play.

The left-back was publicly criticised after being substituted by Mourinho halfway into the team's 2-0 FA Cup win over Brighton & Hove Albion last weekend, and could leave at the end of the season.

Bale became Wales's all-time leading goalscorer with a hat-trick in the China Cup on Friday.
