Alexis Sanchez demanding number seven shirt at Inter Milan?

Alexis Sanchez is reportedly demanding the number seven shirt ahead of his season-long loan move to Inter Milan from Manchester United this summer.

Alexis Sanchez is demanding the number seven shirt ahead of his move to Inter Milan, according to a report.

The Chilean has worn the number seven at both Manchester United and Arsenal and would like to do the same in Italy.

Sanchez's desired number is currently unclaimed at Inter, having been vacated by Yann Karamoh after the Frenchman moved to Parma on loan.

The 29-year-old is reportedly about to end his time at Old Trafford by joining Inter on an initial season-long loan deal.

Sky Sports News claim that the Nerazzurri will pay around half of Sanchez's £500,000-a-week wages, with the Red Devils still having to cough up the rest.

Inter sealed the signing of Romelu Lukaku earlier this month, and the Belgian has reportedly been in frequent contact with his former United teammate over the prospect of linking up at the San Siro.

Sanchez has scored just five goals in 45 appearances for Manchester United since swapping the Emirates for Old Trafford 18 months ago.
