Report: Manchester United plan to turn down Victor Valdes bid

Report: United to reject Valdes enquiry

Manchester United will not let Victor Valdes go back to La Liga this summer, according to reports.

The Spanish keeper joined the club midway through last season after recovering from a serious knee injury, but he only featured in two games at the end of the campaign.

David de Gea is United's number one, and the club are expected to buy a replacement as opposed to promoting Valdes should De Gea move to Real Madrid.

The Daily Mail reports that Valencia are keen on signing the 32-year-old, but manager Louis van Gaal will make it clear that Valdes is not for sale.

Hugo Lloris and Petr Cech have been linked with a move to United this summer.
